The New York Virtual Operations Support Team (NYVOST) is a volunteer community group that helps Emergency Managers and Official Agencies in NY State manage social media.
NY VOST was activated by Suffolk County FRES (Fire Rescue and Emergency Services) on Long Island for Hurricane Sandy and the November Nor’Easter of 2012.
